Our friend Casey does some sweet handstands then gets his car stolen like a noob. This video has no real purpose. I would recommend listening to a song or something while muting this audio. This footage is not color-corrected. Equipment used: Sony HDR-CX150; CAMSPRO 35mm Static Depth of Field Adapter; Canon 50mm EF f/1.1.8 Lens; Manfrotto 293 Telephoto Lens Support. Pros: This offers a great dramatic effect when filming anything close up and you want a soft background. Very low price. Interchangeable lenses to get the perfect shots. DOF adapter can be entirely disassembled. This whole set up cost me around 0. Cons: Vingetting is pretty bad when you pan out all the way. It's a pretty heavy mechanism altogether (which could be a pro, in some cases). The image appears "zoomed in". Also, it's hard to notice in some shots, but when objects or patterns (especially trees) are out of focus, they have a circular tunnel vision blur to them which gets distracting at times. Other thoughts: I didn't realize it at the time, but my camera was set to iAuto mode, which actually does zoom in the image slightly for image stabilization compensation. Also, try to avoid auto-white balance when using these adapters. You get that hot-spotting effect occasionally which is difficult to fix in post. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
